Blue Mountain Mall opened in 1989, is a well designed, modern regional mall and is considered the primary retail destination for Walla Walla and the surrounding counties in Washington and northeastern Oregon. Situated at the foot of the Blue Mountains, Walla Walla is one of the oldest cities in the State of Washington.

Blue Mountain Mall is situated on 49 acres and has 1,800 parking spaces. The Gross Leasable Area is 337,869 SF. In addition to the main mall property there are 21 additional acres that can be used for pad sites and future shopping center growth.

Blue Mountain Mall is anchored by four majors. Shopko, Gottschalks and Sears provide a strong attraction for shoppers throughout the region and for other national retailers. Kay-Bee Toys, Footlocker, Radio Shack, GNC, Bath & Body Works, Dean Hoalst Jewelers, Harry Ritchie Jewelers, are just a few of the fine stores that call Blue Mountain Mall home.

Walla Walla is home to three colleges, Whitman, one of the oldest liberal arts colleges in the west and consistently among the "Top 50" best liberal arts colleges in the country, Walla Walla College, and Walla Walla Community College.
